According to daneshgahnews    , IranianForeign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and Secretary-General of the Organizationof Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu expressed concern over recentviolence in Egypt, and underlined the need for the rapid settlement of crisis inthe Muslim country through peaceful and diplomatic ways .

Zarif, in a phone conversation with Ihsanoglu on Friday described the situation in Egypt as “precarious”, called on the OIC toimmediately intervene and find peaceful solutions to stop internal conflicts andcurb the crisis in Egypt . 
Ihsanoglu, for his part, expressed deep concerns over thespiraling violence in Egypt, and noted that OIC will do its utmost in view ofhelping the peaceful resolution of the Egyptian crisis . 
Since July 3, tension has intensified in Egypt when theEgyptian army removed former President Mohammed Mursi from power, suspended theconstitution and dissolved the parliament . 
On Wednesday, the Egyptian security forces moved into clearout two camps set up by Mursi's supporters - one near the Rabaah al-AdawiyaMosque in Nasr City and a smaller one in al-Nahda Square in Giza . 
Egypt’s Health Ministry says at least 525 people were killedand 3,600 injured in the violence. The Egyptian Interior Ministry also said 43policemen were among the dead . 
However, the Muslim Brotherhood put the death toll farhigher, saying more than 2,000 people had died in the policecrackdown .
